Kingdom of Heaven
A live radio play about the price of security . Common and unusual percussion instruments and sound-creating objects create atmosphere and space for the action. The actors also contribute with sound.
The world is in crisis. A family has bought security by living in a container. As long as they pay, they get food and protection from the chaos outside. They have now lived in the container for twenty years. Their only contact with the outside world is the food that arrives at set times every day. When the light above the door turns green, they can go out. But the light is always red. Because the reality outside is dangerous. Only within the metal walls are they safe. But then there is a knock on the wall. Reality wants in.

RECEPTION
In this claustrophobic state, the family gradually crumbles, but the dystopia is at the same time breakneck funny and at times breaks out of the radio play pattern so that the presence of the actors is highlighted and elevates the story. (...) The target audience is youth, but as an adult audience I feel that it speaks equally to my generation and time, which is a clear strength in both the script, direction and performance.
