Bernt and Tore Band
Cinderella - The true story
The performance is based on a Sea Sami version of Cinderella, but the result is anything but a classic fairy tale. Here two tribes meet: a Sea Sami actor who plays guitar and a Norwegian guitarist who plays plays. Together they take the audience through a fairytale and musical landscape, with stories and music that range from DumDum Boys to country joik.
The performance is about how culture is constantly in motion – about how fairy tales, songs and stories must be recreated in order to live on.
