SCROLLING TEXT

Rolltext is a chamber play about closeness, freedom and boundaries – between people, and between body and mind. He is in a wheelchair, she shares his life, and they have it so, so good. But what happens when love becomes too close – when care becomes control, and the urge to live a life of one's own grows?

The play allows the audience to sit close, and allows the silences to speak as loudly as the lines. With few means and strong acting performances, the performance creates an intimate and vulnerable portrait of addiction, longing and identity.

Rulletekst was Rebekka Brox Liabø's debut as a playwright on Norwegian stages. The screening of Rulletekst at the Drama Festival solidified Ferske Scener's role as a development arena for new voices in the north.
